There are men and women we have come to know in the course of our studies and readings. Among them are scientists, artists, athletes, discoverers and kings. They are great because they have experienced aches, pains and sufferings on their way to greatness.
To us Christians, only God is great because the sufferings He had to do to save us is incomparable. He laid down His life for all of us.
The Lenten season is here.Llet us meditate on the words of God and His sacrifices to shed light to our darkened minds. May this Lent open every heart so that the words of God are the only truth that should guide us in every day of our lives.
In times of sorrow, sufferings, pains, and troubles, let us all be strong and hold on. Let us believe that every one of us is worthy in the eyes of God, and we are strengthened by His love for He is the strongest ally whom we can lean on.
Remember that God is always present, and He will not leave us alone to weather our storm.
“For God moves when He deems the time to be right and always to our benefit,” Proverbs 19:15 says.
During this Lenten season, let us renew our vow to lead a meaningful life and transform our words, deeds, and thoughts in such a way that we may turn away from sins and live by the words of the Lord.
We should lead our life in a manner He wishes us to do when He died on the cross.[box type=”default” size=”large”] A big heart filled with love [/box]February 16, 2013 was another memorable day that my husband Roman and I added to the list of our happy experiences we have here in Michigan, thanks to Dr. Ernie de los Santos Mac, who invited us to PACCM’s 30th anniversary and Valentine’s Ball, a grand affair held at a grand hotel – the Troy Marriott. It was, indeed, a night to remember.
Doctor Mac is the incumbent president of the FILAMCCO Foundation. She’s widely known for her big heart here in Michigan. She is also known for her charity works in the Philippines.
Last January when she visited the Philippines, the Agtas (natives) of Iriga City were the lucky recipients of her feeding program and gift-giving.
We salute you, Doctor Mac, for the good deeds you have been showering on the needy. God bless you.[box type=”default” size=”large”] Food for thought [/box]*Serving God will not always be an easy choice. But it is a choice that brings the kind of consequence we can live with. – Bill Crowder
*Every hell in life is too high if we think we must climb it all at once. But no hell is insurmountable if we take it one step at a time – with God’s help. – Dave Brannon
