The Far Eastern and American Nurses and Allied Professionals (FANA) will celebrate its 12th anniversary with the seventh inaugural ball and induction of officers which will be held in the evening of Oct. 21, 2017 at the Somerset Inn in Troy.
The event is also a fund-raising drive with the proceeds to be used to bankroll FANA’s medical mission and in the Philippines, FANA auditor Angela Bedia said.
The new officers to be inducted are: Gary Butler, president; Ronald Karganilla, vice president; Annabel Debarr, secretary; Natividad Tuliao, treasurer; Angela Bedia, auditor; Evan Wilcher, business manager; Baden Karganilla, public relations officer; and Brenda Sanagustin, parliamentarian.
Also to be sworn in are members of the board of directors – namely, Leticia Basa, Perla Braganza, Jessica Bedia-Bishop, Nene Camero, Imelda Martin Hum, Nora Ong and Carmen P. Villanueva. Immediate past president is Barbara Gates.
The name of the inducting officer and guest speaker will be announced later.
Regular tickets cost $50 each; and benefactor tickets, $75.
Costs of advertisements in souvenir program are: One page black and white, $100; one-half page black and white, $60; back page, $350; and inside front cover, $200.
Attire is formal. Music will be provided by Carter Sights and Sound.
