Miss Jessica Lowing, a 13-year-old Filipina-English-Spanish girl from London, United Kingdom, will be crowned Miss Valentine 2012 of the Brownstown Lions Club during the club’s Valentine’s Ball on Feb. 25, 2011 at Northline Holiday Inn in Southgate.
She will be crowned by her cousin, Kristine Domingo Vitug, who is the club’s Miss Valentine 2011.
Jessica is the only daughter of Englishman Paul Lowing and Filipina Lilibeth Lowing (nee Domingo). The Lowing family, who used to live in Michigan, now lives in London.
The family will travel all the way from London to Michigan to attend the Valentine’s Ball of the Brownstown Lions Club of which Mr. and Mrs. Lowing are still members.[box type=”default” size=”large”] Brownstown Lions’ Valentine’s Ball set Feb. 25 at Holiday Inn [/box]Jessica is described as the “epitome of beauty, brains and talent.” She is a fashion model and former May Queen of London. She was born in London, United Kingdom on July 3rd 1999.
Her father Paul is a company director in London, and her mother Lilibeth is a former model, flight stewardess and charity fund-raiser coordinator.
Jessica has two older brothers, Michael and David. Michael graduated summa cum laude with a degree of bachelor of arts in sports journalism. David graduated with a degree in business management from the University of Westminster. He also graduated with honors.
Jessica spent some of her early years in Spain and the US. When she was four years old, her family relocated to Michigan where she attended Flat Rock Elementary School. They lived for several years in Michigan before they returned to the UK.
During her Year 8 at Darrick Wood, she was an outstanding secondary school student with excellent status. Jessica is an exceptional student with excellent grades resulting from diligent work habits. She is beautiful, talented and well poised young woman.
A role model for other students with excellent academic achievement, she is highly motivated and intellectually sharp, yet humble and compassionate.
Math, English, History, ICT, Arts and Languages are her favorite subjects. She is technically gifted in ICT, and she recently discovered her passion for photography. She is an amazing artist who enjoys painting and calligraphy. Also, she has a special interest in languages. She knows French, German and Spanish. She is now learning Latin. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, North Africa, US and Canada.
She is interested in fashion and style, and she plays guitar and piano. Her interests include poetry, Greek mythology, writing, tennis, yoga, pilates and working out (just like her mom). She is likewise passionate about cooking.
Jessica has passed the gold-medal tests in Latin American dances (rumba, samba, paso doble, cha-cha-cha and jive), modern ballroom dancing and rock and roll. She was a two-time winner of the Smith Young Writers’ Competition for her short stories and poems.
Jessica has expressed interest in becoming a successful barrister.
Jessica has a gorgeous female cat named “Twinkle.” Skydiving and flying lessons are top in her wish lists on her 14th birthday.
Jessica’s grandparents are Augustin E.Domingo and Juanita R. Domingo, who live Michigan. Her aunties and uncles are Julita D. Cruz, Danilo Domingo, Elvira D. Vitug, Nelializa D. del Rosario, Yolanda D. Fariscal, Augustine Domingo Jr., Mildred D. Baluyot and Ferdinand Domingo, all residing in Michigan.
Lilibeth was born in the Philippines, finished her mass-communication course at the Philippines Women’s University and attended Karilagan School in Manila.
