MANILA — Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton had enjoyed her stint in Manila.
Hilton, who was in the Philippines for the opening of her boutique in various locations, even raved about the dinner-party hosted by Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao. The dinner was held after the congressman finished his work at Batasang Pambansa.
“I am loving the Philippines! Having the best time! Went to dinner with my friends Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao tonight. They had a dinner party for me and introduced me to all their lovely friends,” the 30-year-old Hilton stated in her twitter account.
“We all had so much fun talking and laughing. The people in the Philippines are so warm, welcoming, genuine and sweet. The Pacquiaos are such a beautiful and amazing couple! Manny is such an incredible boxer and great friend. Jinkee looked so stunning tonight, she had the hottest Herve Leger dress on. Such a memorable evening! I feel lucky to have such special people in my life. Love Paris xoxo,” she wrote.
Jinkee also posted on her Twitter account on Wednesday (August 17) morning, “I love Paris. She’s so nice!!! what an awesome evening!!!” The tweet was accompanied with a photo of her, Manny and Paris.
“Thank u for visiting the Philippines…we love u…,” she added.
Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz said the friendship between the Pacquiaos and Hilton began last May shortly after Pacquiao’s win over Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
During the post-fight press conference, Hilton appeared during the question-and-answer portion together with her sister Nikki and chatted with Pacquiao and Jinkee.
Shortly after the event, Hilton, a great granddaughter of hotel mogul Conrad Hilton, reported her experience in Twitter and expressed excitement over the prospects of visiting the Philippines.
Koncz said the dinner was “a friendly one…and Jinkee has long been a fan of Paris Hilton.” (Nick Giongco, Manila Bulletin)
