GMA-7’s noontime Sunday show “Party Pilipinas” is still on a six-month probation, the Movie, TV Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) clarified. The clarification was issued following a public apology aired by the program’s bigwigs.
The controversy stemmed from the opening number: There were sexually charged scenes not suitable for viewing by kids.
If Party Pilipinas still violates the rules of the MTRCB within the probationary period, the show would be cancelled. As of last week, GMA-7 was still digging deep in its investigation to find out how the objectionable scenes came about apparently unnoticed by the producer of the show.

On claims of Marian Rivera’s fans that her teleserye “Temptation of A Wife” beat Bea’s series by a wide margin in viewership, Bea succinctly remarked, “No comment ako. That’s their opinion.
