Bea Alonzo and Hilda Koronel - The MistressDuring hernon-showbiz years, Bea Alonzo was enthralledby the classic beauty and terrific acting prowess of Hilda Koronel.  Her wish then was to meet her and be acquainted with her. But when Bea entered showbiz, Hilda wasn’t around anymore. Hilda quit the movies to live in US.

But recently, Bea met Hilda, and she could not imagine that she is to co-star with her. This came about after comebacking Hilda accepted Star Cinema’s offer to play a meaty role in “The Mistress,” which Bea topbills and which reunites her with John Lloyd Cruz.

“Gosh, Hilda hasn’t lost her touch.  Ang galing pa rin kahit ang tagal nawala sa showbiz. I was mesmerized by her in our first days of shooting,” Bea exclaimed.

Hilda, meanwhile, expressed her admiration of Bea’s classy looks and her ability to act out a heavy scene with ease. “(I) heard she’s one of the finest young actresses hereabouts. Of course, I don’t doubt it,” Hilda said.

What seems to worry Bea about the film is her torrid kissing scene with the veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez. It was the first time she did it onscreen. At least, Bea knows that the public will appreciate the fact that she is now growing as an actress.[box type=”default” size=”large”] Lani shares Revillas’ pain [/box]In the 1990s, Lani Mercado lost her baby.
