The Kapulungan ng mga Katolikong Pilipino sa Michigan (KKPM) announced that a Special Simbang Gabi in honor of the Infant Jesus will be held at 7 p.m. on December 14, 2012 in the Saint Bonaventure chapel at 1740 Mount Elliott St., Detroit.
KKPM President Billie Go Belen said that the special night mass (simbang gabi) will be celebrated by Monsignor John Vargas, who will be assisted by Fr. Tim Galos, Fr. Felix Alsola and Deacon Zoy Garibay.
The KKPM Choir will sing the liturgical songs in Pilipino.
The mass will be followed by a fellowship affair in the dining hall of the Saint Bonaventure chapel. This will be sponsored by the devotees of Venerable Fr. Solanus Casey.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Belen announced that the regular nine-evening simbang gabi will start on December 15, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Saint Rene Goupil church in Sterling Heights.
All the night masses will be held at Saint Rene Goupil church and will start promptly at 7 p.m.
