The Philippine Medical Association of Michigan (PMAM) will hold its 49th induction and inaugural ball in the evening of Sept. 20, 2014 in the Henry at 300 Town Center Road, Dearborn.
The new officers will be inducted into office by Dr. Lourdes Andaya.
The outgoing PNAM president is Dr. Rose Aquiler-Angeles, while the incoming president is Dr. Esther C. Aoigan.
Doctor Aoigan, who is a native of Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, specializes in family medicine and works at the Community Health and Social System (CHASS) on Fort St., Detroit. She also holds clinic in Livonia.
A 1977 graduate of the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation in Manila, Aoigan has been practicing family medicine for more than 30 years. She was elected president-elect of PMAM in 2012.

PMAM under the leadership of outgoing President Aquiler-Angeles has chalked up notable achievements, including its successful medical mission in Iriga City, Camarines Norte, Philippines early this year and the Health and Wellness Fair it conducted last May year together with Philippine American Community Center of Michigan (PACCM).
