The Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA), in collaboration with various Asian Pacific Associations all over Michigan, will host a statewide leadership conference on Nov. 10, 2012 to address pressing issues with the end in view of bringing about positive social and economic changes.
The 10th annual Asian Pacific American Leadership Summit will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GM Vehicle Engineering Center at 30001 Van Dyke St., Warren, Michigan.
The summit provides a forum for community leaders of the Asian Pacific American (APA) organizations, leaders in state and local governments, university faculties and students and aspiring youth leaders to work together to resolve issues that concern APA communities.
The event will be highlighted with a presentation by the keynote speaker, Virinder K. Moudgil, PhD, president of Lawrence Technological University, who will discuss “Working Together Across Generations” and the contributions of the APA communities.
